Super Space Cushion Edge
....the spacer solution
for triples and decorative center-lite glass.
Super Spacer® Cushion Edge™ is a flexible, U-shaped,
100% foam tape designed to wrap around and cushion center-lite
glass. It is part of the TrueWARM® family of products
and is available in Premium Plus, Premium and Standard
configurations. The structural foam tape greatly simplifies
triple glazed unit production. Its friendly accommodation
of center-lite expansion delivers additional condensation
resistance and sound dampening with no center-lite rattle.

With conventional methods of triple glazed unit fabrication, you are exposed to greater liability due to four glass-sealant interfaces and the extra steps necessary to ensure a complete seal.
Cushion Edge's revolutionary wrap-around glazing system allows higher thermal performance without an increase in overall unit thickness.
A single spacing system allows for more consistent secondary seal application.
Pleasing Appearance
As the perfect match for decorative art glass, Cushion Edge
features an aesthetically pleasing smooth matte surface
finish with no blistering or bubbling. Cushion Edge's pre-applied
U-channel adhesive makes for fast wrap-around and straight-line
assembly with small radius 90° corners.
Cushion Edge Features
Cushion Edge is desiccant-filled with a pre-applied side
and channel adhesive. It features chamfered corners for
increased sealant depth at the glass interface and has a
continuous vapor barrier at the corners. Cushion Edge also
meets the special design requirements necessary for large
stained glass units. |

Spacer Sizes
Super Spacer Cushion Edge is available with either a 3/16”
(5mm) or 1/4” (6.5mm) channel and a full range of
spacer widths from 1/2” (12.5mm) to 13/16” (20.5mm).
(All orders require a 10,000 ft. minimum order.)
Standard Colors
The standard Cushion Edge color is a warm grey.
Custom Options
Additional colors are available. They include black, almond and gold.
Also, with large volume orders of over 50,000 feet (15,000m per size) per shipment, Super Spacer Cushion Edge can be provided in custom colors, sizes, special profiles or lamination options.
