Extruded as a high-quality silicone foam warm edge spacer system with integrally incorporated desiccant, Super Spacer^® Premium Plus is the product that revolutionized the insulating glass industry more than 20 years ago.

Super Spacer Premium Plus features a flexible foam matrix, which is exceptionally breathable, allowing the high desiccant content to work even faster to adsorb moisture. It makes for the fastest low dew/frost point in the industry. Working together with a proprietary vapor barrier and a secondary sealant, moisture is kept out, Argon Gas is kept in and conductivity in virtually non-existent.

Super Spacer Premium Plus, Premium, TriSeal and T-Spacer products are all extruded as a high-quality silicone foam spacer. Silicone is well known for its superior resistance to ozone, UV light and oxidation. Additionally, it is very color stable. It also maintains excellent flexibility at low temperatures, has outstanding resistance to high heat and has a low compression set. In fact, many silicones have been exposed to outdoor weathering for 15 years with no significant loss of physical properties – making it an ideal polymer of choice for a broad range of high-performance applications.

Insulating glass units made with Premium Plus backed with a butyl secondary seal have passed up to 120 weeks of P-1 durability testing – the industry’s toughest test! Experts estimate that one week in the P-1 chamber is approximately equivalent to one year of field performance.

Spacer Sizes:
Super Spacer Premium Plus is available in a standard 1/4 inch (6.5 mm) thickness and a full range of widths from 1/8 inch (3 mm) to 13/16 inch (20.5 mm).

Standard Colors:
Warm grey and black.

Custom Options:
Additional colors are available with a minimum order of 5,000 feet per size. They include almond, white and aluminum grey. Other custom options are available with large volume orders of more than 50,000 feet (15,000 m) per size and shipment.
